TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE
The one workout that changed the lives of hundreds. It was a hot and humid May in Mumbai, sweat dripped down the foreheads of two 20-something-year-olds as they held onto old monkey bars on an empty ground in Malad and performed awkward pull-ups. That was 2017. That very first workout sparked something in the two men, Shubham Mishra and Joel Prince, that altered not only their lives but hundreds more. Calisthenics was a new concept back then, and they were part of the team that pioneered the spread of calisthenics all across Mumbai. From being part of the city’s first-ever calisthenics park to establishing an India-wide calisthenics community and holding the first Indian national calisthenics championship.
Indian School of Calisthenics is the brainchild of these two extraordinary men that have transformed India’s calisthenics scene for years to come. Their philosophy is based on knowledge, community, and self-improvement. The institute aims to be more than just a place where people come together to work out, but building a community for people from all across the spectrum to grow individually and collectively. Additionally, it also envisions a space that gives Indian athletes the space, opportunity, and knowledge to grow their passion and skills into long-lasting and sustainable careers.
